Ahh, optimism…it’s a great thing but so often overlooked in our daily lives.

In current situations it has become clear just how “cloudy” humans have become.

Finding the bright side of situations, events and life used to be a norm for many people but nowadays it would almost be considered a talent.

It has been said that “we become what we surround ourselves with”. I find that to be profoundly true.

In a day where the news is on 24/7 and it’s usually on the gloomy side, our normal daily bright spots seem a bit duller.

These last few months have wreaked havoc on our minds, emotions and even our physical bodies.

It’s time to take back the power of positivity and unleash our potential for optimism into the world.

Your mind controls so very much of everything you do and when you choose to live in gloom and doom it will resonate from you. That not only leaves you in a place of frustration (or worse) but it also rubs off on all of the people around you.

The next time a situation presents itself….like say when it’s 100 degrees one day, then rainy and 60 degrees and then 30-ish degrees the next day, take the bad with the good and find something positive to think/say about it.

Like every mother has always said :o) if you can’t say (think) something nice, don’t say (think) anything at all.
