Sometimes it’s what we’ve been taught, for some its pride but the truth is that we don’t have to take this road alone. One of the most important factors of change is support. Too often we take the leap alone only to realize that the load is too heavy to bear by ourselves. Did you know that we are one of the most knowledgeable countries in the world when it comes to health and fitness? Yet our healthcare costs are skyrocketing as are our rates of disease and obesity. We preach calcium for bone health and we are the largest consuming nation of dairy products yet our rates of osteoporosis aren’t going down. A large majority of Americans are taking antidepressants, sleep meds and anxiety drugs because we haven’t learned healthy ways to deal with the constant stress we live in and under.

We supplement our energy with caffenaited beverages and supplements, medicate our sleep and struggle through our days only to awaken the next morning to go through it all again. WHY?
