So in part one we talked about the first three areas that you need to be looking out for in avoiding that derailment of your progress. Eating for your health is easier than one might think. Hopefully after the first blog you are starting to get a clearer picture and starting to see that anyone can do it, especially you. In saying that however, I know that if you are new to the concepts that have been discussed that it can be somewhat difficult. And that’s okay! So today we are going to discuss the last area to look out for and we’ll wrap it up with helping you to move forward with your journey to better health.
Okay, so I know that a lot of this can be confusing, but that is where a team of professionals like the ones at our studio can help to lead you through that. We are great at helping you with acquiring that knowledge and applying that into your life. Our team can start to teach you about eating habits, how to make meals nutritional, and how to combine those foods together.
We don’t tell you what to eat, we teach you how to pick the foods that you already know you like and how to put them in the best order possible so that it makes sense for you and your body. So those are good things to have, rather than a meal plan where you are following a list of someone else’s preferred meals. There is a time and a place for that, but the majority of people are not going to stick to that. People usually stick with it for a few weeks if at all. This is why we want to teach you how to balance, how to refuel, how to time it, and there is one more piece to this puzzle.
With whatever we do in life, we have to be consistent with it. Too many people will eat well for a week, and then be off for two weeks. They will exercise for three days and then be off for five days. You have to be consistent. Does it mean that you have to do it every single day at every single moment? No. You still have room for joy, you still have room for screw ups, you still have room for you to be you and enjoy life. But, if you are being consistent with what you are doing time after time and day after day, then you will see results happen.
People that are constantly jumping from one program to the next, and one plan to the next, and starting a new fad diet every week, they are going to see results a lot slower if at all. So our bodies need consistency, they need to be safe and secure knowing that they are getting fed, that they are getting the right nutrients in, and that they can do their work without you hindering the process by not feeding them the right things.
So the next time that you start thinking about your goals of body transformation, or weight loss, or muscle gain, or muscle tone, or just looking good for summer, then I want you to start thinking about how you can eat better for your success.
Now, did you know that here at the studio we not only do comprehensive programs where you can get exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle modification all in there together, but we also have nutrition counseling as its own service as well? So it that’s the only thing that you need–if you feel like you’ve got the exercise down, you have the lifestyle down, but what you need is nutrition help in knowing what to do and how to get through this, then we coach people on that.

With that we get the nutrition plan, we work through that plan, and then we coach them every four weeks on that. So to wrap up today’s blog I want to leave you with the encouragement to try and live healthier through food. It doesn’t have to be perfect, it doesn’t have to live up to the instagram posts, it just has to work for you. You can take small steps to get to your big goals, but just remember that four pitfalls that we discussed today.
